I found a place to stay
I am slowly fixing the damage
I am sure I'll find a friend
With whom I'll spend the evenings
A few miles away
Near the southern valley
There is a town
Right where I want to be
They've even got a record store
And on Friday's there's a place where I play
I almost don't miss you anymore
Writing to let you know I am OK
With some luck
I might be home for Christmas
We'll catch up
You'd tell me how you feel
I'll remind you of
Five reasons
Why you still love me
And always will
You keep saying we're at war
But I am not fighting anyone
Come settle down with me
In my quiet little place under the sun

The Old Shepherd

Same old bank where we sat together
You used to take me here to watch paintings I don’t care about
Nothing happened you are halfway married
Evening falls, fields glow brown
The red-dressed lady the old shepherd
Were witnesses to the crime
There is a silence and from the ceiling
Doves are hanging upside down
Two weeks turned into a year
With a mixture of excitement and fear
How far we have come and what are we after?
What are we doing here?
I am foreign here an outsider
I can recognize their fake smiles
I'm losing all ambition
In god's house praying until the sky falls down
Two weeks...

A Night Full Of Stars
04:16
|

We’ll figure it all out tomorrow
When the sky clears up
Close your eyes it is alright
I got mine on the road
City lights fade behind
All open now all possible
An innocent thought crosses my mind
To pretend it is all for the first time
Familiar sounds from where I can’t tell
Playing on the radio
And you’re half Italian half god knows what
Your mother hates me she always did
I tell you girl we are not coming back
Let them call
A night full of stars watch the colors
Red and blue
I never felt so alive than right here right now
With you
We’ll figure it all out tomorrow
When the sky clears up
